Sunflowers!

There are acres and acres of sunflowers just a few mile from my place.  This post is all about the sunflowers!

I am proud to say that I did not pick a single sunflower!

  5. I just got back from picking up the prints and buying frames. I framed four of them and now just need to pick my spot to hang. I love the sunflower fields. I am going back on Tues and photographn again to see how tall they are now. I am sure they are grown for the seeds.

  6. The bokah is amazing. I love these more each time I look at them. Enter the series into a contest or submit to local magazine or paper. These are gems.

  7. I'm looking for a large field of sunflowers to take pictures in, and happened across your blog. Could you tell me how to find these?

  9. Ah, thanks. One more question...do you know if there are any fields that are still alive after the storm in May?

  10. Anonymous said...I haven't been out that way since I took the pictures, but I wouldn't think they would still be in bloom. They might possibly have more fields in the area that were planted later. It is worth a look and drive around in the area. It was I90 and the turn off for LaCoste. You might try down that road.
